Community Terms
Effective date: 2026-07-18
These terms govern public nicknames, leaderboard entries, online rooms, reporting and blocking in BitBouncer. By enabling a community feature, you agree to these rules and the Privacy Policy.
Who May Use Community Features
- Community features include public leaderboard submissions and online 1v1 rooms. You must be at least 13 years old, or older where local law requires it, to use them.
- You may play the local single-player game without publishing a nickname or using an online room.
Community Rules
- Do not use nicknames or behavior that are hateful, sexually explicit, threatening, harassing, deceptive, illegal, or intended to impersonate BitBouncer staff.
- Do not include personal information in a nickname or attempt to expose another person’s personal information.
- Do not cheat, manipulate scores, abuse room or report systems, disrupt the service, or evade a moderation action.
Reporting, Blocking and Moderation
- The app provides report and block controls beside public leaderboard names and online opponents. Blocking hides that nickname locally and ends an active room when applicable.
- Reports may include the reported nickname, report category, optional details, room context and a keyed hash of the reporter network address for abuse prevention.
- BitBouncer may remove leaderboard entries, restrict service access, preserve evidence needed for safety, or take other proportionate action. Reports are reviewed rather than enforced solely by automation.
Your Responsibility
- You are responsible for the nickname and content you submit. Public nicknames and scores can be viewed by other players.
- Do not misuse reporting or blocking tools. Knowingly false or repeated abusive reports may lead to restrictions.
Changes and Contact
- Material changes require acceptance of a new terms version before another community submission or online room action.
- For moderation, safety or appeal questions, contact info@bitbouncer.io. Privacy requests can be submitted through the Privacy Policy page.
